With the DC, you can have some of the best games ever released, and everything for DC is dirty cheap! Think of Grandia II, Shenmue II, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur, Phantasy Star Online Ver.2, Outtrigger, Confidential Mission, Crazy Taxi 2, Virtua Tennis 2K2, Metropolis Street Racer, Ecco the Dolphin, Ikaruga, HeadHunter, Resident Evil - Code: Veronica, Le Mans 24H, Jet Grind Radio, and many, many more great games. Some of these have been released for PS2 (G2, Virtua Tennis 2K2, Ecco...), but the DC version has better to much better graphics, due to effective hardware superiority, no matter what the media say (and I bet you won't ever see something on PS2 looking as good as Shenmue II).

Wow, got some good, reliable information for you all on Shenmue III. It is confirmed for, Xbox, PS2 and Dreamcast (although i think that will be japan only).

Yup, this is true, no screenshots or infomation on the plot or gameplay yet, but it's confirmed at least. I'll give you more info as soon as i get it, and get to a computer.

Which sources are you using OCB?
Dreamcast - that'd be nice. I'd love it if they released it everywhere. But I think they won't, it'll be Japan-only, as with most good stuff.
PS2 - Shenmue meets Virtua Racing and the world of no textures. Duh.
Edit: Did I mention low-rez?
Xbox - I'm afraid the PC version of Shenmue III would be the best choice, then.

That would be great if it was released for PS2. Even if it doesn't look as good its still less of a hassle than importing.
